My photography journey began in high school, taking photographs and working in the darkroom. After a six-year Navy career, my focus shifted to my family and a new hobby, playing amateur baseball. I rediscovered my love for photography during the 2017 solar eclipse. Upon retiring in 2022, I fully immersed myself in photography, taking classes and entering competitions.

My eye for composition and meticulous attention to detail has been recognized:

• My photographs have been shown at Black Box Gallery in Portland, Oregon and Decode Gallery in Tucson, Arizona.

• Received first and second place wins at the 2024 Vancouver Art and Music Festival.

• Received "Best of Class" and "Judge's Choice" honors at the Clark County Fair in 2024.

• I have had my work published in Novum Artis (Issue 005, pages 146 and 147).

While still developing my unique style, I strive to capture the unique beauty of nature and advocate for its preservation. Each photograph serves as a reminder of the importance of nurturing and cherishing our natural world.
